The Ministry of Industry and Minerals Discusses With The Indian Side The Work Files Of The Joint Committee

Baghdad / NINA / - Advisor to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for Development Affairs, Vice-Chairman of the Iraqi-Indian Joint Committee, Qaisar Ahmed Ukla, discussed with the Indian Ambassador to Baghdad, Shri L. Prashant Pise, a number of topics and issues related to the work of the committee.

 

 A statement by the ministry stated: "The advisor met with the Indian ambassador, and during the meeting, they discussed files related to the work of the committee and opportunities for cooperation that will be discussed during the upcoming visit of the Iraqi delegation to India."

 

 Ukla stressed the need to prepare realistic files by the relevant ministries commensurate with the government program and outstanding issues in order to consolidate relations and enhance cooperation between Iraq and India in various fields and sectors.

 

 He pointed to the Ministry of Industry's tendency to open up to all countries with the aim of reaching understandings and concluding partnership agreements, which would contribute to the development of Iraqi industry.

 

 For his part, the Indian ambassador affirmed the desire and keenness of his country's government to strengthen relations and cooperation with Iraq to establish joint projects that serve the interests of the two countries./ End
