Ministry of Industry Delegation Visits Republic of Korea

Riyadh, August 07, 2023, SPA -- A delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources have recently visited the Republic of Korea and held several meetings with public and private sector officials, discussing boosting cooperation to develop human capability in the industrial mining field, and reviewing programs and initiatives concerning the growth and development of human capability.
Headed by Deputy Minister for Human Capability Development Eng. Faris AlSaqabi, the delegation members met with officials from the Korean Ministry of Education and discussed the future of innovative education methods to respond to the needs of the industrial and mining sectors. The Saudi delegation also met with their counterparts from the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups, with whom they reviewed human capital strategies on both sides.
Furthermore, the delegation paid a visit to the headquarters of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training (KRIVET) and KLI Company, where it held a meeting with human capital development teams to discuss cooperation in the field and opportunities to exchange expertise.
Yet another meeting was held with representatives of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to explore areas of cooperation in human resources development.
