Otr Elkalam Competition Breaks Six Guinness World Records

Riyadh, April 8, 2023, SPA – The World Quran Recitation and Adhan (Call to Prayer) Competition, "Otr Elkalam" has made history by setting six Guinness World Records as the largest contest for the recitation of the holy Quran and Adhan tracks in terms of the number of participants and the total value of the prizes.
The competition also set two other records as the largest competition for reciting the holy Qur’an in terms of the total number of prizes, and the largest competition for Adhan in terms of the value of the prizes which total more than SAR12 million.
The competition, whose first edition was launched in Ramadan 2022, has become an iconic and one of the most-watched TV shows of Ramadan.
Otr Elkalam Competition brings together all those with beautiful and touching voices in Quran recitation and Adhan worldwide.
The program also seeks to provide a rich Islamic experience to the world by highlighting the diversity of the cultures of the Islamic world, which is reflected in the style and manner of reciting the holy Quran and Adhan.
