ABOUT SEMINAR ON INSURANCE FOR DISABLED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A seminar titled “Ways to enroll the disabled in health insurance” was held last Friday in Ulaanbaatar. The seminar, co-organized by a project on improving health assistance and service for the disabled in UB city (JFPR 9115-MON) and the “Nemuulen” family health center, the UB city's Bayanzurkh district, has brought together officials from the Health Ministry, the JFPR 9115-MON project at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Insurance Section of the Bayanzurkh district, also social workers of the Bayanzurkh, Chingeltei, Songinokhairkhan districts. The participants have discussed the law on health insurance and legal environment, ways of involving the disabled in health insurance, and related model project. This model project is being implemented by the “Nemuulen” health center with a sponsorship from the JFPR 9115-MON project. B.Khuder
