Azerbaijan, Turkey discuss how to expand military cooperation

Baku, December 6, AZERTAC Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has today met with Chief of the Main Directorate for Plans and Principles of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Corps General Yavuz Turkgenci to discuss how to expand military cooperation between the two countries. The sides exchanged views on expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in military, military-technical, military medicine, military education, military industry and other areas, as well as issues of increasing the number of exercises and trainings, outstanding tasks and joint activities. They hailed the achievement of operational and strategic interoperability between the Armed Forces of the two countries, the increase in level of the combat readiness, development of mutual relations and exchange of experience.
