Banquet Given in Presence of Kim Jong Un to Celebrate Successful Test-launch of Hwasong-14

Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea gave a banquet on Monday in celebration of the successful test-launch of intercontinental ballistic rocket Hwasong-14. Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was present there. Present there on invitation were officials, scientists and technicians in the field of defense science who contributed to the successful test-launch of Hwasong-14. Also attending there were Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army officials. Kim Jong Un appeared at the banquet hall of the Mokran House together with Ri Sol Ju and reviewed a guard of honor of the Ground, Naval and Air and Anti-Air Forces of the Korean People's Army and the Worker-Peasant Red Guards together with those contributors. Hwang Pyong So made a congratulatory speech at the banquet. Upon the authorization of Kim Jong Un, Hwang Pyong So warmly congratulated those in the field of defence science on rounding off the intercontinental ballistic rocket of Juche Korea, the powerful strategic weapon system of the Central Committee of the WPK and thus attaining the highest goal at one go in bolstering up the state nuclear force and devotedly defending the prestige of the Party Central Committee. The days of developing and rounding off Hwasong-14 were the course during which the new strategic weapon was developed and created and, at the same time, the course during which the elite scientific research group, combat rank loyal to the WPK was born to perfectly develop any high-tech weapon system in the shortest period as demanded by the Party Central Committee, he said. He called for continuing to develop the Korean-style strategic weapon system, bolstering it both in quality and quantity, steadily consolidating the nuclear arsenal of Juche Korea and thus dealing a heavy blow to the U.S. and its vassal forces while not giving them a breathing spell until they bring the surrender document to the DPRK, and dynamically advancing toward the final victory of the Korean revolution.
