Bishkek and Doha agree to intensify cooperation

Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2018. /Kabar/. The meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the State of Qatar Nuran Niyazaliyev with Director of Doha Municipality Jamal Matar Al Naimi took place in Doha, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of enhancing cooperation between the capitals of the two states in the framework of the agreement on the establishment of sister-city relations between Bishkek and Doha signed in December 2014. Ambassador Nuran Niyazaliev told about the history of Bishkek, the current situation of the capital, its trade and investment potential and the recent election of the new mayor of the capital, Surakmatov. At the end of the conversation, an agreement was reached on enhancing cooperation in developing cooperation between Bishkek and Doha, including organization of mutual visits.
