CABINET AND OLYMPIC ATHLETES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The cabinet ordered on Tuesday the Minister of Health to provide the Erdenet city-based Olympic base with necessary facilities, to revise the meal expenditure for Olympic athletes, to create a comfortable environment for boxers and weightlifters, and to buy some sports facilities. The Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold and the Finance Minister S.Bayartsogt have been obliged to intensify the "Olympics Development" foundation and to collect money together with state organizations and NGOs. As of today, rights to take part in the London Games have O.Gundegmaa (shooting), B.Ser-Od, L.Otgonbayar (athletics), J.Gantogs, B.Urantungalag (archery), O.Nasanburmaa, J.Chuluunbat (free-style wrestling), U.Monkh-Erdene and P.Serdamba (boxing). Right to participate in the Paralympics-2012 have B.Ganbat, P.Bolortuya, A.Monkhbat, D.Ganbat, M.Ochirkhuyag (judo), B.Oyun-Erdene, B.Javzmaa (archery), Ts.Lhamsuren (shooting) and G.Monkhbat (athletics). M.Enkhbold said that 142 athletes and 34 coaches of the state selected teams are preparing for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to compete in 14 events. The selected teams' athletes have grabbed 21 gold, 61 silver and 86 bronze medals by November of this year at World championships, continental and international tournaments. B.Khuder
