COALITION'S FACTION RUNS MEETING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Members of the "Justice" joint coalition (Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and National Democratic Party) hope that the court of appeal will correct a verdict, made at the trial court last week, sentencing a former president N.Enkhbayar to four years in prison for corruption cases. The coalition's members said it at an regular meeting of their faction. Apart of this, the faction said they had "successfully ran" first talks with the Democratic Party (DP) and the Civil Will-Green Party to form a coalition government. Related contracts have been established, therefore the "Justice" has entered the coalition government, said N.Battsereg, a head of the faction. In addition, the faction's members asked the DP to express its position over the trial court's decision. The same day, a head of the DP's faction D.Erdenebat said the answer would be given after a consultation with the DP's authorities. N.Battsereg also denied rumours that the coalition would leave the new cabinet due to the above court decision. "Deputy head of our faction Z.Bayanselenge said something about it but we do not any hesitation in joining the coalition government," stressed Mr Battsereg. B.Khuder
