Defense Min. Criticizes West For Backing Terrorist MKO

Tehran, April 11, IRNA – Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi criticized the West for supporting the terrorist grouplet Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO). In an interview with IRNA, the minister pointed out that the terrorist grouplet was basically formed by the support of western countries. Today, the brigadier general stressed, the MKO terrorist activities are of so importance for the western states that they persistantly seek continuation of the presence of its terrorist members in Iraq. He said the presence of the terrorist grouplet in western countries is an explicit proof of west's support for the MKO. He also said western countries are taking every kind of measures to sustain support for the terrorist MKO group./end
