Defense Minister takes part in SLD’s int’l summit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by Mr D.Bat-Erdene, the Minister of Defense participated in the 13th international summit of the Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) held from May 31 to June 2 in Singapore. The delegation included officials from the Ministry of Defense and the Institute of Strategic Studies (ISS) at the National Security Council (NSC); and Ms B.Delgermaa, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Singapore. In frames of the summit, the Defense Minister met with his counterparts of Singapore, the USA, France and Japan; and Vice Defense Minister of Germany, exchanging views on the regional security and the bilateral ties and cooperation in the defense field. This year’s summit brought together the Defense Ministers and high-level officials of the General Headquarters of Armed Forces of 27 countries.
