DEMPARTY IS MARKING ITS ANNIVERSARIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Democratic Party (DP) has begun celebration of its 11th anniversary and the 21st anniversary of the transferring into the democratic society. In frames of the events, the DP ran on Tuesday a "Blue carpet" ceremony in the Central Palace of Culture. It attracted N.Altankhuyag, the First Deputy Premier and the DP chairman; D.Erdenebat, the DP's secretary-general; E.Bat-Uul MP; and Ch.Saikhanbileg MP, a head of the DP faction at the State Great Khural. A concert was given as well. On Wednesday, a book festival called "Democratic revolution and history of democracy" will take place in the Central Palace of Culture. As scheduled, the "Shuffle party" will run on Thursday, and a discussion themed "Mongolian person-2020"--on Friday in the Sports Palace in Yaarmag. As of history of the political party, the DP was established on December 6, 2000, uniting five strongest political forces at that time. B.Khuder
