DEM.PARTY'S FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting, the faction of the Democratic Party (DP) discussed a PM's response to its letter sent ealier with a demand to promptly ensure a preparation for the parliamentary and the local elections at the same time. In the response, the PM says that any participation of the government in organization of election is illegal. “But the Premier must implement the Constitution of Mongolia, if he is not able to do so, the question will arise about a vote of confidence to the cabinet," he said. Saikhanbileg also said that a response to an inquiry, made several days earlier by R.Gonchigdorj into the Premier's preparation for the local election together with the parliamentary election in June, must be sounded prior to the parliamentary spring session, and that "the faction wants to ask the PM the same question at its next meeting".
