Diplomat lauds Qatar's hostmanship in 2022 World Cup

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for political affairs Ali Bagheri Kani praised Qatar's warm hospitality in the 2022 World Cup, Iran's diplomatic mission in Doha said. In his meeting with Qatari Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Bagheri Kani reviewed bilateral, regional, and international relations between Tehran and Doha, Iran's embassy wrote on its Twitter account. Referring to the Westerners’ unilateral approach and benefit-seeking behavior in various international issues, including terrorism and human rights, Bagheri Kani said that any country that is against the political approach of the West will be accused of violating human rights and supporting terrorism, it added.
