DP FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A deputy head of the faction of the Democratic Party (DP) at the State Great Khural L.Gantomor has talked about issues discussed at their regular meeting on Monday. The faction heard a report on a process of producing smart ID cards and on devices of registering finger prints. The information was given by Ts.Nyamdorj, the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs; N.Luvsanjav, the head of the General Election Committee; and Amarsanaa, an acting head of the Authority of Civil Registration. According to them, a work will start from April to distribute the new ID cards, their producion and distribution will run at the same time. A precise number of citizens with false or non-fixed addresses is still unclear, so the faction tasked the cabinet and the sub-committee of civil registration with solving this and other problems.
