DP FACTION WANTS CABINET TO SOLVE PROBLEMS URGENTLY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Monday, the faction of the Democratic Party (DP) announced that the State Great Khural must urgently discuss and tackle issues like a rate of the Mongolian togrog, price boost and a law on local election and other matters. The faction wants to bring closer the fixed at 5-8 March irregular meeting of the parliamentary session. "We have suggested that the autumn parliamentary session, without a break, solve the above problems but the Mongolian People's Party (MPP), a majority in parliament, closed it,” the faction members say in their statement. “We consider that Parliament Speaker's order to hold the irregular meeting in only is the deliberate and irresponsible step of the leading political party to postpone measures that could have solved many problems facing people,” the faction stressed. The faction also requires the cabinet to realize a granting of to each citizen the shares of the “Erdenes Tavantolgoi” company equivalent to one million togrog, and then stresses that it firmly keeps its position to tackle these problems.
