DPRK's April 25 Team Advances to Next Stage of 2017 AFC Cup

Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- The second match between DPRK's Kigwancha football team and Mongolia's Erchim team belonging to the Group I of the 2017 AFC Cup (East Asia) took place at Kim Il Sung Stadium here on Wednesday. The Kigwancha team defeated its Mongolian rival 3:0 in the first match. In the second match it beat the Mongolian team 7:0. Meanwhile, the April 25 team of the DPRK defeated the Mongolian Erchim team 5:0 in the second match held in Mongolia on May 17. Consequently, DPRK's April 25 team registered the highest scores in the Group I to advance into the next stage of 2017 AFC Cup. -0-
