A draft law on it was submitted on Wednesday to parliament by Ts.Oyungerel MP, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, and L.Erdenechimeg, R.Burmaa and G.Uyanga MPs. They also have initiated a draft amendment to the law on the election of Citizens' Representative Khural of aimags, soums and districts that highlights a representation of any gender as 30 percent at least in candidates' list from one political party or coalition.
The same day, a draft amendment to the law on election of the State Great Khural was submitted to the Speaker initiated by A.Bakei MP, a head of the Standing committee on state structure; R.Burmaa MP, a head of the Standing committee on tackling people's complaints; N.Battsereg MP, a chairman of the “Justice” coalition; and Su.Batbold MP. As they want, the parliamentary
re-elections at the city's Bayanzurkh and Songinokhairkhan districts must run together with the upcoming election of the Citizens' Representative Khural of aimags, soums and districts (November 21). "It would be cost-effective measure," they say.
