E.BAT-UUL NOMINATED FOR CITY'S MAYOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The only candidature for the City Mayor, E.Bat-Uul has received 98 percent of votes. It happened at the second irregular meeting of the Citizens' Representative Khural of City on Monday. A resolution on this matter will be submitted to the Prime Minister. The meeting brought together 40 members of the Citizens' Representative Khural, some 88 per cent. Apart of nominating the new Mayor, the gathered discussed urgent problems facing the capital city such as air pollution, dust, traffic jam, land ownership, road repair. They asked the city's authorities to realize a few but most important works instead of focusing on huge lists of activity. B.Khuder
