ELECTION ADVERTISING TO STOP AT 12.00 PM

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The election advertising will be stopped before 12.00 pm on Wednesday or 24 hours before the voting day of the elections of parliament and the Citizens' Representative Khural of City to run on Thursday. The political parties and coalitions running in the elections have started their advertisement after receiving the certificates of candidates. They enjoyed rights to hold advertisement meetings with their voters by explaining the elections programs and ideologies, and to install advertising board within the election law. In accordance with the schedule set by the General Election Commission (GEC), TV programs on the election campaign were broadcasted without charges by the Public Radio and Television, but it is illegal to broadcast it with charges.
