ELECTION DAY STARTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The election started on June 28 throughout the country to form a new parliament. The UB city people are also voting to make up the Citizens' Representative Khural. The President Ts.Elbegdorj voted at the electoral sub-committee in the city Sukhbaatar district's 3rd khoroo, located in the #3 Mongolia-Russia joint secondary school; the Parliament Speaker--in Bayanzurkh district's 15th khoroo; the Premier--at the sub-committee in Khan-Uul district. As expected, a total of one million 833 thous. 478 people will vote in the regular parliament election, and 804 thous. 470 in the Citizens' Representative Khural election.
