ELEVEN COOPERATION DOCUMENTS SIGNED BETWEEN MONGOLIA AND CHINA

Beijing/MONTSAME/ In scope of the official visit of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh, 11 documents of cooperation and mutual understanding between two countries were signed. The documents are equivalent to USD450 million in monetary value. Two heads of the Governments witnessed the signing of documents as follows: 1. General agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) on strengthening production capacity and investment cooperation, 2. A Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC on accelerating the negotiation process to establish an intergovernmental agreement on development of neighboring regions within economic cooperation along Mongolia-China border, 3. Agreement of economic and technical cooperation between the Governments of Mongolia and the PRC on non-refundable assistance worth CNY 2 billion, to be given by Chinese Government, 4. A Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between the Governments of Mongolia and the PRC on implementing a project to build a new Wastewater Treatment Plant of Ulaanbaatar city, 5. Special loan agreement between the Ministry of Finance, Mongolia, and the Export-Import Bank of China on the project ‘Modernization of Erdenet Thermal Power Plant’ to be implemented within the soft loan granted by China, 6. A Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia and China’s National Markets Supervision Management Bureau on cooperation in the field of small and medium enterprises 7. A Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between Mongolian Customs General Administration and General Administration of Customs of the PRC on combating smuggling, 8. A plan on educational exchange and cooperation in 2018-2021 between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia and the Ministry of Education of the PRC, 9. A Memorandum of Mutual Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia and General Administration of Sport of China on cooperation in sports sector, 10. A Letter of Exchange on the Additional Assistance for a project ‘Development Center for Disabled Children’, 11. A Project ‘Improvement of Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Palace utilization’ M.Unurzul
