Embassy: US against drug cultivation and transit anywhere in world

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 14 / Trend / The United States are against the cultivation, sale and transit of drugs anywhere in the world, the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar said on Friday, answering journalists' questions about the cultivation of narcotic plants in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. As a result of the operative measures conducted in the last days, the Ministry of National Security disclosed 12 people involved in smuggling of drugs from Iran, from whom the officers of the ministry seized about 40.5 kilograms of narcotic substances. It was found that the cultivation, these drugs withdrawn from illegal circulation were cultivated and harvested in the territories occupied by Armenian; then these drugs were shipped to Iran, and from there to Azerbaijan.
