Erlan Abdyldaev meets with EU High Representative Federica Mogherini

Bishkek, Sept. 27, 2018. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Abdyldaev met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini on the margins of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov to the EU institutions on April 11-12, 2018. Particular attention was paid to the ongoing negotiations between Kyrgyzstan and the EU on the draft of the new Agreement on enhancing partnership and cooperation. The sides also discussed the upcoming EU-Central Asia Foreign Ministers Meeting (November 23, 2018, Brussels), as well as preparations for the meeting of the Cooperation Council of Kyrgyzstan-EU (December 10, 2018, Brussels). Abdyldaev and Mogherini also exchanged views on the international agenda.
