EXHIBITION ABOUT MONGOLIA OPENS IN SWEDEN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Young Mongolian painters O.Angaragsuren, J.Anunaran and Sh.Tamir have opened their exhibition named "Mongolia: Past and Present" in Sweden. It has been opened in frames of an annual "Cultural evenings" measure in Norrkoping, at support from the "Tunamal togs" NGO, DeMulan, a voluntary artist, and the Embassy of Mongolia in Sweden. Through paintings, the young Mongolians show their understanding of the revolution and the reform in Mongolia of the 21st century. At the opening ceremony, speeches gave Mr B.Enkhmandakh, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Sweden, and Mr Olle Johansson, a member of Norrkoping's administrative council. The Ambassador said this exhibition, Sweden sees first time, is dedicated to the 850th birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan, and expressed a hope that this action will give a start to the cultural exchange between the two countries.
