FAO HEAD IS VISITING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A Head of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Mr Jose Graziano da Silva is starting a two-day visit to Mongolia on Thursday. Within the visit, the FAO Head will meet with Kh.Battulga, the Minister for Industry and Agriculture, to exchange views on the current and future cooperation between the FAO and the Ministry, including ensuring food security and nutrition, increased production in agriculture and livestock, developing a value chain etc. On the first day of the visit, the parties will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening cooperation between the Government of Mongolia and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
