FIRST DEPUTY HEAD OF GENERAL POLICE DEPARTMENT APPOINTED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A lieutenant-colonel R.Chingis, the head of the Anti-Economic Crimes Section of the Criminal police department (IPD), has been appointed the first deputy head of the General Police Department (GPD). The decision has been made by Ts.Nyamdorj, the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs. A lieutenant-colonel R.Chingis has replaced the Brigadier-General A.Dulaanjargal who has taken another duty. R.Chingis graduated the Academy of Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs in 1989, and the University of Colorado in 2004. He began his career from the IPD. ** ** ** After the appointment, the Minister Ts.Nyamdorj received authorities and servicemen of the GPD and of internal troops. Ts.Nyamdorj has spoken about measures taken for improving working and living conditions of servicemen of the police and military units. According to him, 77-apartment buildings will be constructed in soums for the policemen this year and 88 will be erected in 2013, a construction has started of a building for the City's Police Department and for the Police car park. The Minister has said a special attention must be paid to preventing, investigating and revealing drugs, human trafficking and economic crimes. B.Khuder
