FM L.BOLD ARRIVES IN JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr L Bold has started his working visit to Japan by invitation of his Japanese counterpart Mr Koichiro Gemba. On Monday, he was received by Mr T.Yokomichi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan, then met the deputy chief of Cabinet Secretary of Japan Mr Ts.Saito. At both meetings Mr Bold spoke about goals of foreign policy of the cabinet for reforms and exchanged opinions on directions of the cooperation in the years to come. The two sides noted an importance of strengthening of the cooperation in a level of the strategic partnership. Then Minister L.Bold met vice president of JICA, Mr Hideaki Domichi and a leaderships of Itochu, Sumitomo, Sojitsu corporations and of SoftBank. The Japanese side put forward business ideas about expanding the relationship in business sector, increasing the Japanese investments to Mongolia, which were appreciated by L.Bold. He said it is important to lift the economic ties into a newer level by supporting the Japanese investments and developing a collaboration between private sectors. The Minister Bold also gave interviews to the “NHK” TV and “Nihon Keizai” newspaper. The Committee on marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and Japan has given a reception for Mr Bold. Ch.Enkhtuya
