FOLLOW-UP ACTIONS OF INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION’S MEETING DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On April 25, U.Enkhtuvshin, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Mongolian side to Mongolia-Russia Intergovernmental Commission, held a meeting with S.E.Donskoi, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and head of the Russian side to the Russia-Mongolia Intergovernmental Commission, at the State House. The sides exchanged views on the progress of works agreed at the 21st meeting of the intergovernmental commission, and some cooperation matters to be further resolved. The sides reciprocally provided reports on actions being implemented in pursuant to the protocol of the intergovernmental commission. The 21st meeting of Mongolia-Russia intergovernmental commission brought certain progress in the bilateral ties in agriculture, education and mining sectors and resolved an investment issue in bilateral cooperation in road, transportation and energy sectors. During the meeting, U.Enkhtuvshin requested the Russian side to resolve positively a matter regarding its immovable properties in Mongolian territory, which has been anticipated by Mongolians for many years.
