FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER RECIEVES AMBASSADOR OF CUBA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr L.Bold received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Mongolia, Ms Maria Hortensia Febles Mirabal on September 19. She has completed her diplomatic mission term in Mongolia. During the meeting, L.Bold underlined Ms Ambassador's efforts to expand the friendly traditional relationship between Mongolia and Cuba, and discussed with her the cooperation spheres the two countries can develop. The Ambassador mentioned that Cuba has been training on free-of-charge and easy terms the Mongolian students, and said that oppotunities exist to cooperate in medical sector, for example, in establishing a Mongolia-Cuba joint ophthalmology hospital or produce biological medicine from raw materials of Mongolia and Cuba. The two sides noted that the two countries have good relationship and that they will continue supporting each other in frames of international organizations' activities. Ch.Enkhtuya
