FOREIGN MINISTER ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE FUTURE OF ASIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ts.Munkh-Orgil is attending the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia, which is taking place in Tokyo, Japan on June 5-6. During the conference where the development and policy issues of Asia is discussed, on June 5, Mr. Ts.Munkh-Orgil gave speech on Mongolian economy and social state, foreign policies and activities towards Asia and Pacific region and Mongolia’s position on the region’s development. International Conference on the Future of Asia is a traditional forum organized by Nikkei publication every year. This year, high-level delegates from Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines are attending the 23rd conference, which is being held under the theme "Globalism at Crossroads - Asia's next move". Mongolian Foreign Minister’s attendance is significant for strengthening the relations of Mongolia with Asian countries and presenting Mongolia’s policy and activities towards the region.
