FORMER AMBASSADORS AWARDED ON THE OCCASION OF ANNIVERSARY OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS OF MONGOLIA AND KAZAKHSTAN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, a photo exhibition was held in collaboration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ulaanbaatar on April 27. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Batsetseg and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia K.Koblandin opened the exhibition attended by the officials of diplomatic missions in Ulaanbaatar. Acknowledging the contribution in expanding the relations of the two countries, Ambassador K.Koblandin awarded former Mongolian Ambassadors to Kazakhstan a Nazir Torekulov award. Note: Nazir Torekulov (1893-1937) – was the first Kazakh diplomat and a public figure of Kazakhstan. The “Nazir Torekulov” medal was established by the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2003 and is the highest award of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, which is awarded for the contributions in Kazakhstan’s foreign policy.
