Georgian ex-Foreign Minister ready to give up dual citizenship in case of her election as president

Georgian ex-Foreign Minister Salome Zourabichvili is ready to renounce dual citizenship in case if she will win in the presidential elections in Georgia.
She also believes that, carrying out early parliamentary elections will be inevitable in case if the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili leaves politics after presidential elections.
As the future presidential candidate announced on Wednesday, "it is necessary for Georgia to move from a post-totalitarian regime to a democracy", and the October elections will be of great importance in this process.
In addition to the Georgian citizenship, Zourabichvili also has a French citizenship.
The elections in Georgia are scheduled for October 27, 2013.
