HEADS OF SOME STANDING COMMITTEES SELECTED +

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Heads of some Standing committees of parliament were nominated at the committees' meetings on Tuesday and then approved at the plenary meeting of parliamentary session the same day. Mr B.Garamgaibaatar has become the head of the Standing committees on economics with 97.6 per cent votes; Ts.Davaasuren has been selected the head of the committees on budget with 100 per cent; Ts.Tsolmon MP is now the head of the committee on security and foreign policy (92.9 per cent of votes), and G.Bayarsaikhan--the head of the Standing committee on environment, food and agriculture (97.7 per cent). Present at the plenary meeting were 42 MPs. A plenary meeting on Wednesday is expected to select heads of Standing committees on social policy, education, culture and science; on justice; and on solving people's complaints. B.Khuder
