HEALTH MINISTRY TO COOPERATE WITH CONFEDERATION OF JOURNALISTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A cooperation memorandum has been established between the Ministry of Health and the United Confederation of Mongolian Journalists (UCMJ). In accordance with the memorandum signed on Thursday by the Health Minister N.Udval and the UCMJ president B.Galaarid, the sides will collaborate in propagandizing the policy and activities of the health sector, in protecting civil rights of health, in improving professional skills of journalists majoring in health. A mechanism will be created to run trainings and to encourage journalists' works as well. The memorandum was established because the reporters are "the most fruitful means to deliver the information about the health sector," Ms Udval said. "I think they should spread news about drug safety and health programmes and policy in particular," she added. B.Khuder
