IAEA Report, Zionist Regime Threats A Common Scenario

Athens, Nov 13, IRNA – A Greek scholar said that International Atomic Energy Agency ( IAEA) report and threats of the Zionist Regime are a common scenario and two sides of a coin. Vangelis Peasias told IRNA here on Saturday that Iran is a powerful country in the region and added that it is not the first time that the Zionist regime accompanies with the USA in threatening Iran. He stressed that the Zionist regime is an agent of the Washington policy in the region and the US is protector of the illegitimate regime, so their threats against Iran show their fears from Iran's ability and influence in the region. Wondering about the IAEA function, the Greek scholar said that the report damaged the Agency's credit as an international body, because while the US and the Zionist regime are threatening Iran to a military attack, the Agency presented a report upon their desire. He added that to prove their baseless claims, the US and the Zionist regime tried to use the body to seduce world public opinion. Referring to the US and Europe economic problems, Peasias said that by this policy they are trying to deviate public opinion from current economic problems in their countries. He said that Iran is supporting the oppressed people of Palestine as well as popular liberation movements and the world arrogance consider Iran as an obstacle in the way of its illegitimate interests in the world and the Middle East./end
