INT'L FORUM TAKES PLACE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/. The International forum under the motto “Making traditional knowledge as a module for rural area and world" took place from June 25 to July 3 in Bagus city of Philippine. A writer and poet G.Mend-Ooyo, a president of Mongolian Academy of culture and poetry took part in the forum. He called in his report “Let's met the future with our original culture and magic wealth of words”. His poetry reading has been organized at “Mountain Clouds” bookshop and the University of Philippines, and his calligraphy exhibition has run in library of Bagus city. These events have been organized by “Philippines Academy for heritage and art” NGO with support of the Government of Philippines, The forum is attended by representatives from Ainu group in Japan and other indigenous people from USA, Thailand, Vietnam, and some islands of Philippines. Scholars and professors from universities of USA, Canada, Republic of Korea and Japan were delivered their reports and comparative research works on traditional and scientific knowledge. B.Oyundelger
