Iran FM Leaves For Tunisia

Tehran, April 23, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi left Tehran for Tunisia Monday morning for a two-day official visit. The visit is taking place at the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart Rafik Abdessalem. Salehi will explore ways of expanding political and economic ties between the two countries with Tunisian officials during his stay in the country. He will also discuss regional and international issues with senior Tunisian officials. This is the first time a ranking Iranian official is visiting Tunisia after the victory of revolution in that country. The visit serves as a turning point in ties between the two countries./end
