Iran-Lebanon High Joint Co-op Commission Meets

Beirut, May 1, IRNA - - The first session of Iran-Lebanon High Joint Cooperation Commission met here on Sunday. Iranian Deputy Minister of Road and Urban Development Jamshid Noorsalehi, heading a 34-member delegation arrived in Beirut on Saturday and was welcomed by his Lebanese counterpart Goad Falfe, to participate in the session. The today's meeting makes preparations for meeting between Iran's First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Wednesday. Rahimi, heading a high-ranking delegation, is scheduled to arrive in Beirut on Wednesday (May 2). During his stay, the Iranian first vice president would hold talks with Lebanese president, prime minister and parliament speaker./end
