Iran Looks For Fair Solution In Nuclear Talks: NAM News Agency

Kuala Lumpur, May 1, IRNA – News agency of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) reported that Islamic Republic of Iran is looking for a fair solution for its upcoming nuclear negotiations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) slated for May 13-14 in Vienna.
According to NAM news agency, Iran and IAEA hold new round of talks on May 13-14 to reach an agreement on mutual cooperation.
NAM news agency quoted Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ambassador to IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, as saying Iran and IAEA have already held two rounds of talks for determining the framework of cooperation and Iran’s response to questions raised by IAEA about its peaceful nuclear activities.
The last round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany were held in Istanbul on April 14. The negotiating sides announced that the talks were constructive. The next round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1 will be held in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on May 23.
Iran has always announced that it will not negotiate on its right to peaceful nuclear energy, particularly enrichment of uranium required for its nuclear research facilities. However, Tehran has said that it is ready to continue to talks with IAEA and Group 5+1 in order to remove the ambiguities pertaining its peaceful nuclear activities.
Although Iran has several times before has voiced its readiness to hold talks with IAEA and Group 5+1, the US and the Zionist regime try to bring the talks to a deadlock by raising non-technical issues such as asking Iran to halt its uranium enrichment activities held within Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)./end
