Iran Majlis Speaker Hails Brotherly Ties With Oman

Tehran, April 16, IRNA – Iran’s Majlis speaker Ali Larijani hailed the brotherly ties existing between Iran and Oman. The speaker made the remarks here Tuesday during the parliament’s open session which was also attended by chairman of the Oman State Council, Shaikh Hamed Khalid Nasser Al-Maawali. The Omani official is in Iran at the head of a parliamentarian delegation. Larijani thanked his Omani counterpart for attending the session and said Oman has had friendly ties with Iran in the past years. He further noted that Tehran-Muscat ties have always been solid. Larijani hoped the Shaikh’s visit to Iran would have positive impacts on bilateral relations./end
