Iran Welcomes Agreement To Form New Gov't In Bosnia, Herzegovina

Tehran, Jan 2, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Sunday said Iran welcomes the agreement to form a new government in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said Iran views the move by that country’s ethnic groups to form a new government after a 15-month delay and holding election as a step forward towards establishing a lasting peace and stability in that country. Mehmanparast expressed hope that the formation of the new government would help reinforce peaceful coexistence in that country based on constructive and effective discourses. He also expressed hope all sides could agree to patch up their differences and forge a lasting unity in Bosnia and Herzegovina./end
