Iran's President-elect: Gov't Will Usher Path Of Co-op With World

Tehran, June 18, IRNA – President-elect, Hassan Rohani, said on Monday that the government will usher in path of cooperation with the world. Addressing his first press conference after his landslide victory, Rohani said, ˈLetˈs learn from the youth, how they exercised jubilation on the streets, forgetting the past and how they are looking for future.ˈ He said that his government will focus on future and will not get entangled with memory of the past. The government will use the experience got from the past to build a bright future.ˈ He advised to get rid of sabotaging one another and develop atmosphere of brotherhood. Prior to the press conference, he thanked Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and all those taking part in the election, especially those respecting national solidarity, ethics and moderation./end
