JAPAN'S DELEGATION MEETS SU.BATBOLD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A leader of the Japan-Mongolia friendship group at the House of Representatives of Japan's parliament Mr. S.Eda met on Tuesday with Su.Batbold MP, a head of the Mongolia-Japan inter-parliamentary friendship group. A delegation led by him is paying a visit to Mongolia these days. Su.Batbold said he was satisfied with development of the Mongolia-Japan relations in all sectors, and noted that the interparliamentary ties play a main role in the bilateral relations. "The relations between our countries have been developing on a good partnership level. I hope that the interparliamentary group at the State Great Khural will bring the bilateral cooperation into a strategic partnership level," Su.Batbold said. He noted that the parliamentary group is ready to support investments from Japan targeted at introducing the latest Japanese technologies to the mineral resources and mining sectors of Mongolia. In response, Mr. Eda expressed thanks for the audience and underlined that Japan will attach an importance to the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations to be celebrated this year. B.Khuder
