JUSTICE MINISTER PAYING WORKING VISIT TO CHINA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Member of Parliament and Minister of Justice and Home Affairs S.Byambatsogt is paying a working visit to the People’s Republic of China on May 8-12. Within the visit, an action plan of cooperation in 2017-2021 between the Minister of Justice and Home Affairs of Mongolia and Ministry of Public Security of China was signed. Minister S.Byambatsogt met with member of Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee and Secretary of Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission Meng Jianzhu. Minister S.Byambatsogt highlighted the bilateral relations of Mongolia and China, which has 68 years of history, have been actively developing not only in political and economic spheres, but also in law enforcement sector. The parties underlined the significant role of justice and internal affairs in the bilateral cooperation, which reached a comprehensive strategic partnership level and expressed their confidence that the great result will be yielded by the visit of Minister of Justice and Home Affairs of Mongolia, after six years. They also agreed to intensify cooperation of law enforcement institutions of Mongolia, China and Russia, when the relationship of the three countries is currently widening and to create a joint mechanism to collaborate in the fight against cross-border organized crimes, including drugs and human trafficking and money laundering.
