KCNA Commentary on Transfer of U.S. 8th Army Command in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Days ago, the U.S. and south Korean puppet army transferred the Command of the U.S. 8th Army present in south Korea to the area of Phyongthaek, Kyonggi Province, before holding an "opening ceremony of new building". The commander of the 8th Army in his "welcoming speech" praised the south Korean lackeys, terming the move an "event demonstrating the solid south Korea-U.S. alliance". He added that the transfer of the U.S. base would improve the defense capability and combat preparedness of the U.S. forces. The goal of the U.S. Asia policy is to occupy the whole of Korea with south Korea as a stepping stone and realize the ambition for world domination. Frightened by the tremendous might of the Korean People's Army rapidly strengthening these days, the U.S. chose the best way to move its aggressor forces bases in south Korea to the areas south of the River Han. It is the American style way of existence to save its own destiny without caring about its face as superpower. This vividly showed what the "solid south Korea-U.S. alliance" is. It is very easy to wipe out the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces and south Korean puppet army under the very nose of us as we are all prepared to make the U.S. mainland into ashes. The bigger target will further improve hit-rates and fire-influence. The south Korean warmongers can never escape from the sight of the DPRK as they are hell bent on the confrontation racket devoting the worthwhile place and big taxes from the south Korean people to the U.S., which is aiming at annihilating the Korean nation. The aggressors and provocateurs can never be safe under the sky no matter whether they are located in Ryongsan and Phyongthaek or in the U.S. mainland. -0-
