KCNA Report on Anniversary of Kim Jong Un's Assumption of Top Posts of Party and State

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The Korean Central News Agency released a report Friday on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's assumption of the top posts of the Workers' Party of Korea and the state. The report said: The Fourth Conference of the WPK and the 5th Session of the 12th Supreme People's Assembly in April Juche 101 (2012) decided to have Kim Jong Un at the helm of the Korean revolution, reflecting the unanimous will of the entire party and army and all the people. This was a great political event and great national jubilee that brought an epochal turn in the drive to strengthen the party and build a powerful socialist country at the important historic juncture of accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche. Our party, army and people have pushed ahead with the victorious advance of the socialist cause and performed the greatest miracles under the uplifted banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, holding fast to the behests of leader Kim Jong Il as the lifeline under the seasoned and tested leadership of Kim Jong Un, who is possessed of brilliant ideo-theoretical wisdom, rare leadership ability and distinguished popular traits, and along the road of sure victories indicated by him. Guided by Kim Jong Un, our party has developed into the party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and all the servicepersons and civilians are united closer around it in thought, purpose and loyalty and Juche Korea has made so rapid progress that it emerged a nuclear and military power in the East protecting global peace.
