Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Russia

Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 76th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed by the Russian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK on Jan. 15. Lebedev, chief of the Group, was elected chairman of the committee. It set a celebration period from Jan. 15 and Feb. 16 and decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il and organize political and cultural events in the period. -0-
