Kim Jong Il's Exploits Praised by Foreigners

Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- There took place rememberance meetings in Russia, Romania, Venezuela, Ecuador, Thailand and Pakistan from December 8 to 11 on the 6th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. The vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party "Russian Communists" and other speakers said Kim Jong Il personified his traits and qualities as a leader while assisting the work of President Kim Il Sung from his early years. Kim Jong Il, together with Kim Il Sung, the founder of the Party, state and army of the DPRK, is always alive in the hearts of mankind as the sun, they noted. The vice-chairman of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela said powerful Korean socialism is the revolutionary legacy bequeathed by Kim Jong Il who is boundlessly revered by all people. The co-chairman of the Venezuelan National Committee for Remembering Leader Kim Jong Il said thanks to the devoted life of Kim Jong Il, the DPRK could emerge as a nuclear power and rocket power while firmly defending socialism from the U.S. high-handed and arbitrary practices. The chairman of the Ecuadorian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il said the august name and exploits of Kim Jong Il will shine forever as he foiled the imperialist allied forces' moves against socialism under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism and defended the cause of socialism. The vice-chairman of the Thai Committee for Remembering Leader Kim Jong Il stressed that although Kim Jong Il passed away, his exploits would be immortal along with prospering socialist Korea. The chairman of the Lahore Juche Idea Study Group of Pakistan praised Kim Jong Il who successfully steered the cause of human independence as the father of the Korean people and teacher of the progressive people. -0-
