Kim Jong Un Sends Letter to Teaching Staff and Students of Kim Il Sung University

Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter "On the Basic Tasks Facing Kim Il Sung University in the New Era of the Juche Revolution" to the teaching staff and students of Kim Il Sung University on September 27 on the 70th anniversary of the university. In his letter Kim Jong Un said Kim Il Sung University is the center of training native cadres and the highest seat of Juche-oriented science and education. The history of the university is the history of victory of the Juche-oriented educational ideas and theories and outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the history of ardent and patriotic loyalty of the whole teaching staff and all students and graduates from the university, he said, and went on: Today the university is facing the sacred tasks to train more revolutionary talents faithful to the Party and the revolution and possessed of high ability as required by the new era of the Juche revolution, powerfully step up the building of a socialist power with the achievements in latest scientific researches and thus proactively contribute to carrying out the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, he said, indicating the tasks and ways for doing so. He expressed the firm belief that all the teachers, researchers, officials, employees and students of the university would glorify long the university as the one of the great leaders, turn it into one of the first-class university in the world and thus creditably fulfill its sacred mission and duty before the times and the revolution, true to the intention of the Party Central Committee. -0-
